Primary Teacher's Assistant at Central Coast Steiner School
Central Coast Steiner School is seeking a full-time Primary Teacher’s Assistant to work during term time.
Key Selection Criteria
* has attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)
* understands the principles and practices of Steiner education
* shows a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum
* demonstrates a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support
* experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children, with a nurturing and inclusive approach
* demonstrates a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
* has excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
* has an excellent command of spoken English
* has experience in working in schools
* works well as part of a team and communicates well with colleagues
* can take initiative and be flexible
The successful candidate must also provide a Working with Children Clearance prior to commencing.

Central Coast Steiner School is seeking applicants for the position Primary Teacher, commencing Term 1, 2026.
We are a thriving, progressive school set on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW with around 350 students from Early Kindergarten-Year 12.
The successful applicant will be a vibrant and imaginative educator.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications and/or commitment to professional development in Steiner Education
- Outstanding rapport with students
- Demonstrated ability to openly and effectively communicate with parents and guardians
- Collegiality and ability to work flexibly within a team
- Demonstrated ability to develop, document and differentiate curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver the outcomes of the NSW Australian Curriculum Stages 1-3
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice
- Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities
- Artistic/musical/handcraft skills
